Meningitis and Me

Things have been kind of slow on the Blog this summer. That’s totally because of me. I managed to come down with Meningitis on the 4th of July weekend and it caused me to lose July and most of August. Not a fun thing to do. Well it certainly taught me a few things. First of all, being a huge health advocate, and very big into natural healing and nutrition, I realized how vitally important it really is. I had Meningitis about 14 years ago, I actually thought you couldn’t get it again once you had it, but I was very wrong. As the doctor said to me in the hospital, you’re one of the lucky few. I would have rather won the lottery! Anyway 14 years ago it took me 7 ½ months to get back on my feet and even then I was pretty shaky for weeks after that. This time I was over most of my symptoms and in decent shape after 4 weeks although it has taken another couple of weeks to get most of the “fuzzies” out of my head. That part comes from your brain swelling which makes it hard to focus and can affect your short-term memory pretty severely.

What did I do differently this time? The biggest thing was I relied on excellent nutrition and lots of rest. Medication and I don’t get along very well. I’m one of those people that has adverse effects from any pain or anti-inflammatory meds. They usually don’t do much of anything for me except make me feel sleepy, crabby and violently sick to my stomach, not a good combination. As soon as I got out of the hospital I went right back to my digestive enzymes, nutrition and immune building products and lots of rest. Thank heavens because it made a huge difference in my recovery time. Taking in to account the fact I’m 14 years older which ordinarily would mean that my recovery time would take longer than it did the first time, you can see why I’m so excited with the results good nutrition played in my recuperation.

This brings me to one of my favorite subjects, taking care of your health. I’ve written several articles on health and nutrition and I’m a firm believer in making your health a priority in your life. Speaking with a very good friend, world-renowned Immunoenzymologist Ron Schneider, (the first person my husband called when I went into the hospital) about the immune system and how to best help your body, help itself. I learned, as I always do from Ron’s vast knowledge of the human body, exactly what it takes to help your body recover faster. (You can access Ron at www.enzymes4life.net ) Ron shared with me the fact that viruses are all around us and we are sure to be exposed to them, and often get them. However, it is the state of your immune system that determines how quickly and effectively you will throw them off. Thank heavens my immune system was in good shape and my body was able to fight off this debilitating virus very quickly. (That didn’t happen 14 years ago as evidenced by my much longer recovery time).

The quality of your life depends a great deal on your body’s ability to sustain good health and fight off disease. If you are not where you need to be health wise, you need to take steps to get there as quickly as possible. I have asked Ron to spend some time with us so I can share with you some of the most important things you can do to improve your health as quickly as possible. I’m excited to have his time and attention and even more thrilled to be able to share that information with all of you. In the meantime like I mentioned before, go to www.enzymes4life.net and meet Ron for yourself. Make sure to check out the video at the top of the page on digestive enzymes and why each of us needs them every single day. Excellent information, in fact it’s life extending and often life saving!

Yet another “Secret”.

I recently received several emails about The Secret. I’m glad to see that so many people have either read the book or watched the movie. And yes, I realize it is very hard to change how you think and feel to get into The Secret “mindset”. It was hard for me too. And believe me it was hard to think that I drew some of the things I didn’t like about my life, to myself. Even though I did it totally unknowingly, as most of us usually do. Why? Because I was dwelling on those things, and angry at the people who I felt caused them. I was frustrated because I didn’t think I had any power over what happened. I thought about them with very passionate feelings. That mindset was not where I needed to be. Those feelings were entirely negative and often drew more anger and frustration to me.

The good part is when I realized what I was doing (about the 3rd time I watched the movie !) I was really upset with myself. I have had fabulous things come into my life by being focused and committed to what I was doing, and being excited about it. It seemed that I always found exactly what I needed to get things done and accomplish my goals. And yet I allowed the negative feelings I was having about other situations pull me down and keep me from reaching other goals. I had to learn to “let it go” or forgive the very people I felt had hurt me. Once I did, everything about the situations I was complaining about changed.

First and foremost, you have to let go of any and all anger that you feel about people and things in your past. Yes, it’s a very hard thing to do, because it is much easier to blame someone else for the things that have happened to us, than to realize that what happens in our lives is often the very thing we fear, worry and think about the most.

Why does that happen? Probably because those are the things we have the deepest feelings about and also the things we think about the most. The hardest thing to grasp is that we really are the ones in control. No one wants to feel like they draw bad things into their life. However, if you feel anger towards someone for what you feel they did to you, or caused you to do, then you need to find forgiveness. Until you release it, and learn from it, it will always block you from the joy and happiness you can intentionally bring into your life.

Try thinking about it like this . . . If you are in a restaurant, are you going to order something from the menu that you hate, that you know you can’t stand? That you absolutely wouldn’t even think of taking a bite of? No, you will order what sounds wonderful to you. Something you can hardly wait to taste or try. That’s what you should be doing in your life, ordering up the things you most want. But too often our focus is on what we don’t want. That can be just about anything from how we don’t want our children to behave, to someone we can’t stand, to an argument with a friend or loved one, to work, and on and on. And that is exactly what we get … our kids are horrid, work is someplace we don’t want to be, we are angry or frustrated with family members or friends, nothing seems to be going right. And then we say … what else is going to go wrong! And we open the door for even more stuff we don’t want. Actually, we are getting just what we ordered, exactly what we don’t really want. Those are the vibes or feelings we are putting out there. And that’s what we get back, exactly what we put out.

Feel good about you, feel good about who you are. Every experience in your life has helped make you who you are today, even the bad ones. If you want expanded experiences and feelings then bring them into your lives. It may sound crazy, but it really works.

I received an email from Karen, who told me that the hardest thing she ever did was to forgive a former friend for causing her to lose a large sum of money she had invested in his company. The company, which had great promise, didn’t make it. Due in large part to some bad decisions made by her friend, and Karen, recently divorced, had a very hard time dealing with the loss of the money she invested. She was very angry and resentful towards her friend for causing her that loss.

After she watched The Secret, she worked very hard to let go of her anger and forgive him. Every time she thought about it, she would turn her thoughts around and start thinking about things that made her happy or she would do something physical and totally focus on things she was thankful for. It finally worked. She told me that it took her several weeks, but she learned how to forgive and let go and that has made her a much happier person. In fact she now has a new love in her life and she doesn’t think she would have ever even met him if her mind set had stayed in anger. He is a very positive and upbeat person according to her, and probably wouldn’t even have given her a second look, let alone been attracted to her while she was in what she called her “anger mode”. Today she is a very, very happy woman looking forward to a lovely future.

Take a few moments and see if you have situations like that in your life. Can you turn them around? Can you forgive? Even if it’s hard to do? If you do, you may find your entire life changes. Isn’t that worth working on?

What Does A Concussion Have To Do With “The Secret”?

I know that sounds like an insane question since “The Secret” is supposed to bring good things to you. But one thing I learned this week is that whatever you focus on, you get! Last week while I was with my Youth Group at a skating rink, I decided to go for it and get out there on the ice with the kids. Since I haven’t been on skates in a “few” years, I thought about how embarrassing it would be if I fell. Actually, I did that several times during the evening. Well guess what, that’s exactly what I did. About 45 minutes into it I decided to take some pictures of the kids racing around the rink. They were having such a great time and I was thoroughly enjoying them. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of turning around in the center of the rink and trying to focus a camera and you guessed it, my feet went out from under me and my head managed to connect with the ice and give me a whopping concussion. It put me out of service for over a week and gave me an unforgettable headache. However, it also taught me something too. Don’t focus on what you don’t want to happen.

I have been avidly studying “The Secret” for the last 6 months and just like many of you, I realized that I have unknowingly actually used the principles of The Law Of Attraction quite a few times in my life …in many different ways. Fortunately the ones I remember the most are the good ones. I manifested my husband, my daughter, the home we live in, and even 3 very successful businesses. I didn’t understand, at the time, exactly what I was doing. Not until I watched the movie (over 20 times) and read the book. Not to mention all the numerous TV shows and Tele-seminars I’ve watched and listened to, and still do.

I realized that there were quite a few times in my life when I can remember being passionate, excited and exceptionally focused on something that was really important to me. I literally drew those things to me.

I’m very sure most of you have done the same thing. Think back to a time in your life when everything was going perfectly and all your thoughts, feelings and focus were on one particular thing. You were actually practicing the “Law of Attraction”. At the same time, we draw the not so good things to us too, once again by what we focus on. Have you ever thought about being in an accident and then had it happen (like me on the ice!)? Or how about taking a trip and wondering what is going to go wrong? And wrong shows up. Worrying about being late to an important appointment and there you are, late. It’s the same thing.

Knowing what we know now with the introduction of the movie “The Secret” wouldn’t you like to bring only good things into your life? Think back to a time when everything was in perfect harmony and all your thoughts, feelings and actions were focused on what you were doing or wanting to accomplish. Perhaps it was something you did as a child in school or in sports. Or perhaps another time in your life, when you were really excited and passionate about what you were doing, like getting a certain job you wanted, or finding the right boyfriend or even the right husband. When everything felt just right and you were feeling great about everything and everyone and nothing could go wrong.

Wouldn’t you like to be able to duplicate those feelings and those actions so you could live in that kind of harmony every day? It is possible, more than most of us realize. In fact you can literally change your life by changing how you think and feel about things. Just be sure you are focusing on the “good” things you want in your life. Remember that old adage, “what you think about, comes about” or “be careful what you think about for you will surely get it”. Now we finally know why that happens. So think good thoughts, put those thoughts into feelings, ask for what you want, be grateful for what you already have and make way for new and wonderful things to start coming to you. And if you haven’t seen “The Secret” by all means put it on your list of things you absolutely MUST do. www.thesecret.tv

Sleep … Your Friend or Your Elusive Enemy?

So many people have said how elusive sleep is to them; at times I have been in this category myself. Especially if I am over excited, stressed or don’t feel well. It seems like my mind will go on forever and since I don’t have an automatic shut off (wouldn’t that be nice!), I will often lay there for hours thinking about all the things I haven’t gotten accomplished.

I started researching sleep and what people like you and I can do about it, short of going to a sleep clinic or getting a prescription for it. Here are several suggestions that I’ve personally tried that actually worked quite well for me and for some of my friends. Now mind you, nothing seems to work all of the time. We have found that alternating several “good” ideas that help you attain that blissful state of restful sleep, works the best. And rotating the ideas, keeps you from losing the effect of trying just one over and over again. I’ll start out with my old fashioned tried and true ones and go from there.
There is the old standby ...
1. A glass of warm milk, or decaffeinated herbal tea, or even hot chocolate, but I like to couple that with a good book. However not one that is too heavy into intrigue or mystery because then I don’t want to put it down. Something else I have discovered, don’t read self-help or intense “learning” books right before bed because your brain doesn’t turn off. And the result you are looking for is to calm your brain not get it working.
2. A warm bath, but not a hot one. A hot bath stimulates you while a warm one relaxes you. If you have some essential oils to add to your bath all the better. My favorites are Lavender or Jasmine. A few candles, especially in a corresponding scent add to the ambiance as well. Sometimes I put on soft music, Pachebel Cannon is one of my favorite relaxing pieces, I also enjoy Enya. Just be ready to fall right into bed immediately after, don’t answer emails, get on the phone or start doing things around the house. That ruins your relaxed state.
3. A little massage to relax your neck, shoulder or back muscles and even your feet, is a big help as well. If you don’t have a spouse or significant other to help you out with this one, Hometics makes a wonderful line of home massage items. You can get them at bed and bath stores for your neck and your back and even for your feet. Try using these for 10 or 15 minutes before you go to bed. They help relieve the tension we often don’t even realize we have built up during the day.
4. Sore and achy feet can ruin a good night’s sleep. If you have that problem, try a foot massage. You will be amazed at what it will do to help you relax. Don’t have a foot massager? No problem. Just get yourself a tennis ball or even one of those little balls your dog probably has for a toy. (Just make sure he isn’t chewing on it!) and roll your foot around on the ball. Put some pressure on it until you can feel the tendons and muscles in your foot relaxing, it may hurt when you first try it, but don’t stop. You will be surprised at how much better you feel when you relive the pressure and tightness in your feet. Because this helps stretch the muscles and tendons it helps keep your feet feeling much better and keeps them more flexible. This is great if you are on your feet all day. (I carry a tennis ball whenever I travel, and use it every night, what a difference!)

Now that I’ve shared a few of the ideas that work for me, I’d like to invite you to share your great ideas too. So please email me at livingbeautifully@sbcglobal.net put “Sleep Ideas” in the subject line and let me know what they are so we can share them.

Beautiful Skin for Beautiful Women

Each of us wants beautiful skin our special someone wants to touch, and the sponsors of Women Living Beautifully have a wonderful skin repair product that dramatically changes the texture and tone of your skin. Cossidia is a skin repair system that eliminates scars, burn marks, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles and even dramatically benefits psoriasis and eczema. Because Cossidia is all about a more beautiful you, Cossidia is a perfect sponsor for Women Living Beautifully.

Cossidia is a phenomenal skin repair system. I was lucky enough to be able to try the product when it was first brought into the US from Asia. I was astounded at what the products could do. I have several scars I have used it on, 2 are almost invisible, 1 very large one is over 90% gone and another scar I started using it on is about 80% gone. The thing that most amazed me, is that once the scar is gone, it doesn’t come back. Scars aside, I decided to use it on my face because they said it was excellent for anti-aging. Once again, it proved remarkable. I have had the opportunity to try out some pretty amazing skin care formulations over the years (from some of my early entrepreneur days) and I have never found anything that did what these formulations do. The skin on my face has regained its elasticity and firmness and the fine lines I had around my eyes are much less noticeable. Now that may not sound like much, but firming your skin and regaining elasticity is very important. Can you imagine what it would be like if you could keep the elasticity in your skin and never have to deal with losing it in the first place! Since we all start to see a difference in our skin, sometimes as early as our late 20’s, it’s definitely a treasure to find something that does what these products do.

Cossidia’s unique formulations come from Asia. Both formulas are simple, all natural combinations of ingredients and there are absolutely no preservatives. In today’s chemical world, that in itself is amazing. Most of the ingredients are found in the ocean and others from volcanoes and melting glaciers, they provide an array of ingredients that when combined create results never seen before … a system that literally rejuvenates your skin from the bottom layer up and restructures the growth pattern of your skin cells so they can “fix” themselves.

Sounds incredible, but it works. It’s a simple two-step program. The first step restructures the growth pattern of the cells by giving it the vital nutrients it needs at the bottom layer where skin cells actually begin to grow. This corrects the growth pattern of the skin and when you’re dealing with scars, that’s very important. The second step literally removes the old skin tissue from the top layer down. It acts like a super exfoliant but the difference is when the tissue is successfully removed the scar is no longer there.

This is the only system I have ever heard of that will actually work to eliminate a scar. Because skin cells don’t rejuvenate overnight, the process takes time. But what are a few months in the scheme of things when you’re getting major results like these products offer?

If you’ve tried the Cossidia products, please email us and let us know what you think about them. If you haven’t, and you’re looking for something new, cutting edge and incredible for your skin, give them a try. There is a marvelous guarantee on the products and you can’t go wrong with that. One of the things that really appealed to me, was the fact that I have dramatically decreased the amount I spend on moisturizers and eye cream. The Cossidia formulations are so hydrating that I only need a little moisturizer when it’s really cold and dry out. Other than that, the Cossidia takes the place of my moisturizer, eye cream and neck cream. Check out these amazing formulations for yourself at www.asianbeautysecrets.net . This special site will give you plenty of information along with the ability to get $50 off your purchase if you decide the Cossidia products can help you get that head-turning, attention-getting, drop-dead gorgeous skin you deserve. Believe me, you'll love the way it makes your skin look and feel. Let me know what you think ...

A Little Fun And More Romance For You And Your Valentine

When I told a friend of mine what I was posting on the Blog she said she thought I should share my favorite romantic dinner recipe with you because it’s become her favorite too. It’s really very simple and you can do most of it ahead of time.

Personally, I start out with an appetizer and Champagne or wine. I usually pick shrimp or sushi. Something simple but elegant, just make sure it’s something that both of you enjoy. My husband is a meat eater so his favorite is beef tenderloin, which you can usually have cut at any meat counter. It doesn’t have to be more than a couple of pounds. I rub it with olive oil, a little garlic and pepper. Then I roast it in the oven uncovered for about 45 minutes at 450*. Be sure to cook it just until it’s rare. This is important; because you are going to turn off the oven and let it sit to keep it warm and it will still continue to cook, (however let the oven cool down a bit or it will end up too well done)

You want this part done right before he’s due to arrive because it will keep you from getting bogged down in the kitchen when you’re trying to be romantic! Just remember not to leave your dinner in the oven for too long, no more than 30 to 45 minutes in a warm 250 to 300* oven, you don’t want it well done or dried out. Keeping everything covered, (including your potato or rice, and your sauce if you choose to do them.) And put a piece of aluminum foil lightly over the top of your roast to keep it nice and moist.

Prepare your favorite salad and have it pre-plated in the refrigerator so you just have to add dressing. If your guy is a potato or starch man like mine, then you can always prepare or purchase a potato or rice dish that can be fixed and ready at the same time the roast is done. (Keep it warm in the same oven.) If I’m serving rice, I usually use an ice cream scoop to put it on the plate, which keeps it nice and neat. If you need butter it’s fun to use a small cookie scoop and make butterballs ahead of time, or neatly slice stick butter in little squares so you don’t have to put out a big butter dish. You can serve your tenderloin with a nice horseradish sauce (Sour cream and horseradish mixed together works great, do it to taste and serve it chilled on the side or do a packaged sauce you make before he arrives and keep it warm.) You can put a little on the plate place the sliced tenderloin on it and drizzle a little more across the top of the meat. Add your potato or rice and a little garnish such as a couple of orange slices and a strawberry or some other little fruit garnish you put together ahead of time and your plate will look beautiful. You can serve your salad before your entrée, or with it, (if we take a while over the hors de oeuvres I usually serve them together) either one works, and of course I add his favorite beverage or Champagne.

Pre set your table with your prettiest dishes and glasses and add a red rose. Keep it intimate and pretty and lit with lots of candles and you’re ready for a lovely evening. If you have a small table you can set up by the fireplace, try serving your dinner on that. For dessert, once again for this occasion, stick to simple, something pre prepared or his favorite chocolates.

Don’t have time for dinner; try a romantic lunch at your favorite restaurant. Bring him a red rose and a hand written personal note from you telling him how much he means to you. In cold weather, if there is a Botanical Garden near you, try lunch nearby and then take a walk in the gardens. Near the water, do lunch by the water and take a walk down the beach, or a marina and look at the boats. During the time you are together make a pack between you that you will only talk about other romantic things you’ve done or would like to do together in the future. Don’t talk about anything that will destroy your romantic atmosphere, leave that for another time.

Between special someone’s? Don’t let that get you down. Spend some time with a special child for Valentines Day. I’ve done that several times, especially when my husband was traveling. They are some of my favorite Valentine memories. Kids are really into Valentines. They love to get them and give them. I’ve done this with my nieces and nephews and also my daughter and even with her little friends.

I set the table with pretty dishes and put cutout hearts all over the table. Then I make all their favorite little sandwiches, like peanut butter and jelly, grilled cheese etc. I use cookie cutters to cut them out, or slice them in different shapes. You can use toothpicks to make little fruit skewers, and little carrots with ranch dressing or whatever dressing they like the best is good. Celery cut in one inch pieces filled with cream cheese or peanut butter is another kid favorite. Along with apple slices and the prepackaged Carmel sauce for dipping.

Kids love the flavored cakes that have fun frosting. Or try making heart cutout cookies and let them decorate the cookies. “Strawberry milk”, works well because it’s pink. You can get the strawberry flavoring at any grocery store where the chocolate flavoring is. Put it in a pretty pitcher or teapot and pour it into little cups or small glasses. If moms join us, then I serve tea for the mom’s or if they’re from the neighborhood and don’t have to drive, maybe even a glass of wine.

You can spice it up a little by having the kids play dress up, they will love it and so will you. Give them each a little bag of Valentine candy to take home and if Mom or Dad aren’t there celebrating with you, you can always have them make a special card to take home. A little construction paper or plain white paper, crayons or markers and a few hearts and stickers work great.

If you have a favorite fun thing to do for Valentines Day, please share it with us.

Valentines Day Is Just Around The Corner

Valentines Day Is Just Around The Corner, Made Your Plans Yet? It’s one of my favorite Holidays; of course, to be fair, I love most of them. It doesn’t take much to get me in a Holiday mood.

I thought I’d share some of my favorite Valentines Day ideas with you. Luckily this is a Holiday that can be celebrated in many different ways, depending on how much time or how involved you choose to get.

If you’re really busy but you still want to do something special, think about surprising your honey with a romantic night away at a hotel. This may be hard if you have children, but think about swapping weekends with another friend with children. One of you could keep the kids overnight one weekend and then trade off for the following weekend. The nice thing about Valentines Day is you can easily celebrate it the weekend before or after.

Personally, one of my favorite things to do, and it’s easily duplicated, is planning dinner at your favorite restaurant (let your favorite guy take care of the reservations) and then you surprise him over dinner with a hand written invitation to spend a romantic night in a hotel close by (make sure he’s available to do it before you make the plans). Just make sure you pack his shaving gear, toothbrush and favorite after shave and have it ready to go or in the car, and something to wear the next day is always good. You can always buy mini travel sizes of the things you know he needs and pack him a little surprise overnight kit. And for fun, you can always give him your favorite smelling after-shave as a gift right before you give him the invitation!

Let’s talk about what to bring along for your romantic evening. Remember lots of candles (scented tea lights work great for this and they’re easy to pack), they help set the mood. Just don’t forget matches or a lighter for them. Remember not to put them anyplace where they will get knocked over, and make sure you have something to set them on so they won’t burn the surface from sitting directly on it. A bottle of champagne, wine or your favorite beverage can be packed in one of those portable little fabric coolers. You can actually tuck it into your luggage and if you put some cold packs around it, it will stay cold. And of course, champagne or wine glasses, (it’s fun to use these even if you’re not drinking champagne).

Chocolates are always great and they are considered an aphrodisiac. A few really extravagant ones, his favorite flavor, are good and very decedent. Strawberries are excellent as well and if you can find chocolate dipped ones, even better. Bring a pretty little dish to put them on and a couple of pretty linen napkins, one to put on the table or dresser so you can set the champagne on it along with the glasses and chocolates and a couple of extra ones in case the champagne overflows. They also make great covers for hotel ice buckets.

Music helps set the mood. A small portable CD player or an ipod you can plug into small external speakers is perfect. Play some romantic music and set the mood for your romantic evening. Just remember to bring something fun to wear and you’re all set! Here’s a fun tip, if your hotel isn’t too far away from where you live you can actually go over early and have everything all set up ahead of time, you can add flowers, chill the champagne in an ice bucket and even turn down the bed. Imagine walking into a room greeted by soft music, flowers, chilling champagne, and having him be totally surprised. It’s incredibly romantic.

Don’t have the time to make it a night? Try fixing a very light but elegant supper and serve it in front of the fire if you have a fireplace (Or get one of those DVD’s that looks like a roaring fire and play that. You can usually find them at Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens-n-Things, and they really do add ambiance). The easiest thing to do is to pick up a simple yet really good takeout meal you know he’ll enjoy, and keep it covered so it won’t dry out, in a warm oven (works especially well if you’ve worked all day). Then you just have to plate it, and you’re ready to go. Keep it simple though, too much food and he’ll be falling asleep instead of concentrating on you. When he arrives, meet him at the door in your most romantic outfit, with his favorite beverage or a glass of champagne, and once again remember the candles, and the music.

Want to be really decadent, try strewing rose petals across the floor of the bedroom and all over the sheets. Or plan a bubble bath for two with scented essential oils, candles and music. Whatever you do, just make sure you both enjoy each other and have fun.

More Fun and Romance next time.
Have a Beautiful Day, Until later …

Introducing Women Living Beautifully, a Blog and Podcast for Women

Hello and Welcome to Women Living Beautifully. My name is Susan Marie and it’s my pleasure to host Women Living Beautifully. I have worked primarily with women throughout my life, and, over and over again, I have come to realize that, on a whole, women are extraordinarily amazing individuals. We have the innate ability to solve a wide variety of problems, often just using common sense. Our knowledge is vast, we learn and retain a great deal of information just from living our every day lives. Although no woman I know has ever had an ordinary life.

We are masters at problem solving, time engineering, nurturing, and fixing the unfixable, all while we are bearing and caring for children, taking care of our loved ones (old and young), working, often taking care of a home and a husband and enjoying ongoing relationships of our own. With everything going on in our fast paced world, we don’t always have the time to check out every new “thing” that comes along and as a result we sometimes miss the very things that could make our lives simpler, easier, rewarding and more fun.

For years I have wanted to find a way to share information with other women. To be able to give them a quick synopsis of different options that were available to them so they could claim back some of that time, we all so easily give away to everyone but ourselves. Ideally it would be a place women could go to for resources when they wanted information and not have to get bogged down in tons of reading or studying before they knew if the information was exactly what they were looking for.

We finally have that opportunity with the concept of Blogs and Podcasts.

As women who are often also, wives, sweethearts, mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, friends and much more, there are times in each of our lives we are faced with situations that we just don’t have the answers to at the tips of our fingers. One of the top goals of WLB is to bring you the information and the resources to find and use that information, that will help ease some of those problems and situations.

Someone once asked me why didn’t I just write a book, but today information changes and updates so quickly that a book would be obsolete before it even reached the publisher. Hence WLB was born and hopefully you will find it refreshing, resourceful and beneficial, in helping you live the life you want as beautifully and easily as possible.

The topics we are planning on covering are diverse. They range from gourmet recipes you can prepare in minutes that will delight your family and friends, to how to have a friendly divorce. From learning how to decorate your home to attract prosperity, to finding the right pet, and getting rid of bad habits. As well as wonderful ways you can quickly restore your energy, learn to relax and even how build a fabulous business. Our aim is to give you resources to find more and more things that will make your life easier, simpler yet more productive.

We invite you to contact us and let us know what you would like information on and what topics would be the most beneficial for you to learn about. Please feel free to email me with your thoughts and suggestions at livingbeautifully@sbcglobal.net
Have a Beautiful day, Until later …
Heart Hugs,
Susan Marie
